Performance: we love it. We feel so passionately about high-performance software that we will do anything to get our hands on your systems and have the chance to make them go faster. So keen are we, in fact, that we even offer a total guarantee: if we cannot improve the performance of your software by at least 10%, you pay nothing.

Check out the following sections to see how it works.

Free Investigation

To start with, we will need a short description of what the problem is, or what you'd like to improve. This may be as simple as a single query or script that is running slowly, or as complex as the throughput of an entire system under different workloads.

We may need to find out a little bit about your system: the architecture, the language that process components are written, the mechanism by which they communicate etc., depending on the nature of the problem. Any additional information that we need, we will either request by email or over the phone, or we may even come and visit you in person on a fact-finding trip.

Remember that the initial investigation and analysis is free, so you are not committed to anything by contacting us, and you are free to send us as much information as you want - code, queries, documentation, anything.

Fixed Price

Next we will tell you how long the work will take and what it will cost you. If you agree, then we will proceed with the modifications and deliver the results. You will have a chance to satisfy yourself that we have delivered the guaranteed improvements before you sign off the project. For administrative purposes, this will be billed as a multiple of days, but remember that this price is fixed - there is no extra charge no matter how much extra time we put in.

Note that it is in your interest to make sure that the above conditions are met, that the constraints are reasonable, and that there is enough documentation or assistance to provide information regarding the application. We may at any stage decline work if that we feel that there is inadequate scope for changes, a lack of information, or if we don't think that we can make the application run any faster given the constraints.

If you want a performance problem solved, or you just want your application to be faster, contact us now and tell us all about it.
